Deckscapes designed and built this beautiful open porch with Trex decking and a Belgard paver patio in Waxhaw, NC. The open porch has a hip roof with a finished vaulted ceiling on the inside. The ceiling is beaded tongue and groove pine board with a Sherwin Williams I transparent stain. We installed two ceiling fans and 6 recessed can lights with dimmer switches. The flooring on the porch and adjacent deck is Trex Transcends in the Spiced Rum color with a border of Vintage Lantern Trex. The decking is installed using Trex Hidden Fasteners and color matched screws where needed. The railing is Trex Transcends with white horizontal rails, white posts, black aluminum ballusters, and matching Trex Spiced Rum top cap. The deck was finished off with a 1x4 English lattice that Deckscapes builds and then stains to match the Trex Vintage Lantern. The roofing shingles and gutters are then installed to match the exterior of the house. The homeowners really wanted some lower living space to make a fire and enjoy some great family bonding time. We installed a 2 piece Tumbled Belgard paver patio with a border, a large sitting wall and matching fire pit. This area really extends their backyard living space and gives them a very resort-like feel to their backyard.
