This screened porch with EZE Breeze windows, tile floor, and relaxing hot tub was built in the Denver, NC area. The porch has EZE Breeze windows with clear vinyl on the front and side walls but we added a darker vinyl at the hot tub wall to add more privacy for the homeowner during the daylight hours. The large floor tiles in a subway pattern add beauty to the room while making wet floors easy to clean up. The same tile was added to the step around the hot tub for a smooth transition out of the tub. The real beauty of this room is in the ceiling. It is a a tongue and groove knotty pine with a Sherwin Williams cedar stain to make the client feel like they are at a lodge in the mountains. They added the metal artwork above the door to keep the lodge feel. The versatility of the EZE Breeze windows add so much to this outdoor living space. Open the windows all the way to allow the breezes to blow in or close them up to stop pollen from entering the room. The Larson screen door has an extra large dog door for so their four legged babies can come and go as they please. There is a small Belgard paver patio outside of the covered entrance to this room. While we were working on this project the homeowner asked us to redesign their fireplace inside their living room. We added natural stone and a large cedar mantle to keep that mountain lodge feel. This outdoor living space was designed with the homeowners input to allow them to relax in their hot tub, entertain guests or just enjoy a cup of coffee with their dogs resting on the tile floor. We are very proud of this project and as always, we want you to Enjoy Being Outside.
